Blue Screen with After Effects

Have you ever wondered how they make those comic book movies? Have you ever wondered what Video Pool’s giant blue wall is for? Learn the basics of the compositing workflow. Participants will learn basic lighting techniques for shooting on a blue screen, removing harness wires, removing the background in After Effects, and compositing the subject into a new background.

Rylaan Gimby is a Winnipeg based compositor. He has done compositing, animation, and visual effects for his own work, commercials, television and feature films.
