Erica Eyres
Erica Eyres was born in 1980 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She studied at University of Manitoba with major in sculpture (1998- 2002). Eyres aattended the Skowhegan Residency Program and currently lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. Inspired by society’s modern-day desires hot-housed to an extreme by American trash TV, her uncompromising drawings and fictional documentary-style video works continue to create a growing cast of characters reacting to the vicissitudes of life.
