Bev Nicol

Bev Nicol is originally from Alberta and now lives in Winnipeg. Soon after arriving, she became involved in women’s liberation and began training as a woman’s self-defense instructor. Nicol has also worked for Manitoba MediaWatch, researching and reporting on the Winnipeg media, and has given presentations to the public about the image of women in advertising. Nicol is now studying to become a graphic artist and would like to be more involved in media production.
