Jolanta Lapiak

Jolanta Lapiak is a multi-media artist who earned a B.A. from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. and a B.F.A. with distinction in Media Arts and Digital Technologies from Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary. She is a M.F.A. student in Fine and Media Arts at NSCAD University in Halifax. Lapiak is a native sign language speaker. She has lived in several cities and countries and travels often, absorbing cultures and languages. Lapiak's works lie in video art, video performance, visual poetry, poetic narratives, and multi-media painting.
