Garland Lam
Garland Lam’s work is informed by the Asian-Canadian experience in its investigation of traditional Chinese culture and its impact on second-generation Canadians, using webcams and new media as a means of emphasizing the contrasts in these relations. In particular, Lam often turns to her father as a subject as a means of personalizing this investigation.
