Kari McQueen

Kari is a media artist based in Calgary, Alberta. From 2002-2009, she was Program & Outreach Coordinator for EMMEDIA and also co-founded the Calgary Underground Film Festival. Kari is currently working for part time for Springboard Performance while focusing on her artistic practice full time. She recently completed Springboard's Interrarium creative residency at the Banff Centre, and is working on the accompanying six part video series, Tekhne. She has exhibited in Alberta Scene Albertaine (Ottawa), Calgary International Film Festival, Prairie Tales Touring Program, WNDX (Winnipeg), Glenbow Museum (Calgary), Festival International du Film sur l’Art (Montréal), and Vidéos de femmes dans le parc 2009 (VFP, Montréal).
