K. George Godwin

Born in England in the 1950s, K. George Godwin was transplanted to Newfoundland at an early age and eventually moved to Winnipeg in the early 1970s. After the usual round of meaningless jobs and abortive stint at university, Godwin's interest in film led to six months' work on David Lynch's DUNE in Mexico. A few short films later, he landed in a career as a film editor and now mainly cuts documentaries for the NFB.
