Blunderspublik

Blunderspublik is Curtis Walker, a sound & video artist working from his homebase of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He approaches his audio and visual work in similar ways – by beginning with synthetic and organic sources that are translated to binary code, sculpted, and organized into complex structures and abstract narratives. In addition to writing audio pieces for distraction, blunderspublik has also collaborated on works to accompany independent theatre projects and short film/video, and has recently produced two short films. As a musician, he has been commissioned by CBC, and has been featured on CBC Radio Two’s The Signal and Brave New Waves, as well as MuchMusic’s Going Coastal. Blunderspublik’s video works are distributed by Video Pool Winnipeg, and his 4th and latest CD, ‘you are the best ever’, is available on sfeericle records, an independent label featuring digital musicians from across Canada.
