A young street photographer with an old newsreel camera finds herself the only person to capture live footage of the "Bloody Saturday" climax to the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike. Disillusioned by the newsmen who rejoice at her bloody footage, she slips her film into a makeshift time capsule and leaves Winnipeg forever.
