For the love of all at once, take me now

1998, Video, 10:00 (Colour, Stereo)

by Kenneth Doren

This experimental dance video explores the relationship between camera, dancer and landscape. In the spirit of discovery through play, both camera and dancer enjoy equal opportunity to abandon themselves to the moment. The camera is a synthetic view which provides a framed experience against the organic landscape. The landscape is a living entity that incorporates, forgives, connects and plays. The dancer, born in a technological society but contains organic matter mediates between the two realities in an attempt to find a relevant relationship.
