Intro to After Effects

Are you tired of the terrible title options premiere and final cut offer? Would you like to create some special effects in your short film? Looking to get into digital animation? After Effects is a digital compositing and animation program in the Adobe Creative Suite. Get ready to drop the Saul Bass as you create titles worthy to introduce your brilliant work, or let out your inner JJ Abrams as you cover your screen in artificial lens flares.  This 4 hour class will cover:

– Importing assets (footage, logos)

– Using compositions and layers

– Applying Effects

– Using Text

– Animating and Keyframes

– Rendering / Exporting

Instructor: Rylaan Gimby

Dates: Saturday, November 26th, 2016 (Noon – 4)

Location: Video Pool Studio (300 – 100 Arthur St.)

Limit: 6 Participants

Fees: $60 member / $80 non-member

Prerequisite: None

About The Instructor: Rylaan is a commercial and multimedia artist based out of Winnipeg. He has been working with after effects for almost 10 years, utilizing it for animation, motion graphics, and visual effects.
