This workshop is specific to Video Pool’s newest camera the Sony PXW-FS7. The Sony PXW-FS7 has a sensor that contains 8 million pixels, four times the resolution of our HD cameras. If you love the images from our NEX-FS700 and FS100 cameras, you will be absolutely thrilled by the 4K images from the Super35 sensor on this camera. The detail, sensitivity and depth that the FS7 is capable of producing is astounding but it requires a skilled hand to wield it to it’s fullest potential. To that end we will be presenting a short workshop to explore some of the more complex aspects of operating the FS7. Led by the knowledgable and affable Marcel Kreutzer (technical coordinator at the Winnipeg Film Group), this workshop will explore topics such as detailed menu navigation, advanced features, colour space (CineEI), suggested workflow and more!

Requirements: This is not a workshop for those new to video or camera work. It is intended for members who are already experienced with shooting and want to understand the advanced capabilities of the FS7. For those looking for a basic camera workshop, we will be offering one in early October. Check back for details!
